Returns policy: Please note that all refunds are subject to our refund policy below. Any returns (warranty or refund) must be accompanied by the returns form which is provided in PDF form via email on request. Any goods received without the returns form will be rejected. Please note that all postage costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. All sales are final once payment has been received. It is the customers responsibility to undertake sufficient research prior to purchase to check that the products that they are purchasing are suitable for their intended purchase. Refunds are only available in circumstances where the product differs from the written description on our website in a way that renders it unsuitable for the general purpose of such products, or where a defect (not due to damage in transit) is apparent at the time of receipt and that defect is immediately notified by email to StoneBridge Computing, and the presence of the defect is able to be verified by StoneBridge Computing on return of the item. In all other circumstances, the provisions of the warranty provided by the manufacturer shall apply. In the case of both refunds and warranty service, the customer shall return of the item at their risk and expense. All products are inspected prior to shipping and leave Stonebridge Computing in new physical condition. Shipping is at the customers risk. If the customer has chosen a shipping method that offers insurance, Stonebridge Computing will assist the customer by providing necessary documentation to enable the customers claim against the carrier to be processed. In no circumstances will Stonebridge Computing be liable for any damage to other components or data, whether due to fault or incorrect installation or any other cause. In particular, customers are advised to backup any data prior to any installation and especially if any item is being returned for service or warranty repair. Please note that warranty repair of hard drives and other data storage devices usually involves replacement of the device and any data on the original device will be lost. OEM Products: OEM Products can only be purchased with new hardware components and/or systems. For detailed rulings, refer to OEM supplier/manufacturer. StoneBridge Computing reserves the right to refrain from shipping an items until such time as sale conditions are met. Warranty: Please make sure you retain your official StoneBridge Computing tax invoice for any purchases of goods or services. Without your official tax invoice, you may be denied warranty. StoneBridge Computing Standard warranty is one year return to base warranty, unless otherwise stated. We honour manufacturers warranty period. (Most components have 12 months manufacturer warranty). We honour / pass any warranty terms and conditions from our supplier onto the customer. Warranty will not be covered if any products are physically damaged. Warranty does not include software issues or loss of data. StoneBridge Computing is not responsible for the potential failure of any device not supplied by us due to the failure of any of our supplied components. It is best to ensure that components are installed by a qualified IT technician. Any part returned for warranty that tests ok may incur $30 testing charge. CD Media has no warranty unless manufacturer defects are visible and can be proven to be such defects. If customers choose to install any StoneBridge Computing products themselves, StoneBridge Computing will not be responsible for any failure that may occur to those products due to incorrect installation, or by not following installation guidelines recommended by the products designers. StoneBridge Computing recommends a trained technician (prefered at StoneBridge Computing) should install any hardware purchased from our store. StoneBridge Computing is not responsible for any VOID of warranty from its original manufacturer once customer decides to leave their equipment(s) to StoneBridge Computing for repair or service. StoneBridge Computing always recommends a good backup strategy, because we will not be responsible for any software, data or hardware problem while we carry out repair or sevice work. System / Monitor warranty: All new systems include a 1 years parts & 1 years labour (Return to Base) warranty. All monitors have manufacturers warranty. Onsite Warranty Quotes Available on request. LCD screens are allowed some dead pixels in the display before being classed as faulty (as directed by all manufacturers). Notebook warranty: All Laptops/Notebooks have a 12 months Return To Base (RTB) warranty unless stated otherwise. All Laptop/Notebook batteries are subject to battery warranty (RTB). (most between 3-6 months). |
